How people visit culture in Prague's established scenes?

Creative Prague presents the results of a new data analysis focused on the cultural behavior of the residents of the capital.

The document is based on data collected as part of the pilot project Investigation of Cultural Behavior, which took place in 2023 in the MapKa project. In 2024, Creative Prague focused on a more detailed analysis of these data from the perspective of established scenes in order to answer the questions: What audience do the contributing organizations of the city regularly visit? What distinguishes this audience and how does it differ?

The study is based on the priorities of the strategic document Cultural Policy of Prague 22+, which emphasizes the mapping of the cultural environment and the creation of a data base. “Prague wants to make strategic and informed decisions in the field of culture. This capability without quality data is not possible,” states the authors of the study.

The study was prepared by the Creative Prague team in collaboration with external sociologists and the STEM research institute. The Dattle studio participated in the graphic form and editorial work.
