Creative Praha announces a selection procedure for the position of Director.
Creative Prague is a municipal organization established for the development of culture, whose task is to create and implement the cultural policy of the city, strategic planning and creation of data-analytical materials and tools, support and development of cultural and creative sectors (KKO) and, last but not least, implementation of community projects with urban areas.
The successful candidate will be the director of the registered institute and the confessor for strategic and financial management, fulfillment of the organization's obligations and its development. It will create a suitable environment for the implementation of projects stipulated by the contract with The Prague City Hall and other partners, search for suitable partnerships and cooperation with Czech and European partners in the field

Main Responsibilities:
- Strategic management of the organization
- Professional guarantee of fulfilling the long-term mission and goals of the organization
- Setting up processes and their regular evaluation
- Financial planning including responsibility for raising and managing third party funds (European funds, sponsors)
- Leading a team of 13 people
- Responsibility to ensure multi-source financing (whether in the form of grant applications or ancillary activities)
- Regular reporting towards the founder (The Prague City Hall)
- Communication and engagement of key partners at The Prague City Hall, MMC, political representation and public administrations and the EU and others for the continuous functioning and development of the organisation
- Establishing cross-sectoral and cross-sectoral partnerships
- Promoting and maintaining organizational culture
- Personnel management, capacity provision and facilitation of team dynamics
- Representation of the organization at professional meetings, conferences and towards the media
- Fulfilment of the obligations of the Administrative and Supervisory Board as defined in the instrument of incorporation
- Representation of organizational values (cooperation, transparency, reliability, empathy, creativity)
We require:
- Higher education, ideally in culture, management or related fields
- Proven experience in designing long-term strategic plans
- Experience in financial management — assessing and approving budgets within an organisation or complex projects
- Experience in leadership or team management (preferably in the non-profit or cultural sector)
- Demonstrable knowledge of the Czech cultural environment and strategic documents related to the issue, especially Cultural Policy of the Capital City of Prague 2022+
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- English language — excellent knowledge of writing and speaking
- Integrity
In addition, we will appreciate:
- Knowledge of legislation and financial management of non-profit or established organizations
- Experience in the management and administration of European projects

Selection procedure:
The first round of the selection procedure will take place on the basis of the evaluation of the submitted documents. The selected candidates will be invited to the next round, which will take place in the form of a personal interview during September/October.
