Thanks to the second Presidency of the Czech Republic in the Council of the EU, we began to work closely with the Creative Fed network and accepted the role of host of the important European Creative Industries Summit event. In autumn 2022, Prague will see the top cultural and creative industries from all over Europe.

What happened at ECIS?

The cultural and creative industries are known for their potential for interdisciplinary innovation. They help other sectors manage change. The Czech Republic, like the whole of Europe, is experiencing its green, social and digital transformation. And the cultural and creative sectors offer a way to go through this transformation sustainably, ethically and with high economic added value. The conference highlighted that culture plays an important role in shaping the environment in which we live and is a strategic investment in modern society.
