Data Analytics
We publish analyses on current topics or trends in cultural policy. We emphasize the practical use of these analytical reports. We choose the theme in accordance with our current projects and events.
The spectrum of topics can range from cultural policy to audience development to the potential of art in urban development. We process the selected topic in the form of an analysis and evaluate how it can be applied to the tools of the city and thus achieve a positive change in the cultural environment.
Theme of excellence
In 2022, we focused on a topic based on the strategic document Cultural Policy of Prague 22+, where it says:”Prague, in cooperation with experts, will define the criteria of excellence and look for ways to recognize outstanding cultural achievements and support their further development. “ Data Analytics 2022 presents a proposal to modify the Prague subsidy system in order to strengthen excellence in it. The report proposes the following basic measures:
- Modification of evaluation criteria
- introduction of a financial allocation mechanism
- introduction of benchmarking and evaluation within the team of evaluators and evaluators.
We forwarded the report to the Department of Culture with recommendations for gradual implementation in practice.
